Join Barley’s Angels and Easel and Wine at Just Brew It in Carson City for a growler painting party. For $40 you will get a growler and a beer to enjoy while you paint an idyllic lake scene on your growler. As always, Barley’s Angels events are open to all women over the age of 21 who have an interest in beer. Event must have 12 people (max of 20) or it will be canceled so please RSVP early! Lake Tahoe AleWorX is having a Tahoe Brewfest tap takeover. If you missed the Tahoe Brewfest this past Saturday, or maybe just want to relive the awesome event, the entire beer wall (23 taps) will have beers from the breweries that participated in the event

10 Torr – 1st Anniversary Block Party – Help celebrate their first year with a weekend of events starting on Friday. Beer releases, cocktail releases, drink specials, live music, food trucks and more. Read our article on 10 Torr’s first year HERE.

The Biggest Little Invitational a craft beer festival dedicated to showcasing the best of the best in the brewery world. With top notch entertainment, local food vendors, some good old fashion lawn games, and the beautiful Bartley Ranch setting.

7th Annual Capital City Brewfest – More than two dozen breweries will line both Carson and Curry Streets and live music will take place in McFadden Plaza. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Carson City and The Fox Brewpub, the event benefits the Rotary Club’s youth leadership and scholarship programs. The service organization awards a $12,000.00 four-year scholarship to a deserving student each year, as well as funds several leadership programs for Carson City students. Tickets are $30.00 in advance and $35.00 at the door. Alibi Ale Works has released IPA Batch 311 featuring centennial and denali hops, delivering big flavors of grapefruit zest, ripe papaya, pine resin, and a creamy mouthfeel. Draft only at both taproom and Truckee. 6.3% ABV.

Sidellis Lake Tahoe Brewery has released Neighbor-Reno a Flanders ale made with both cherry and plum and aged in a Tahoe Moonshine whiskey barrel. 5.8% ABV.

Revision Brewing has released Finite Madness Imperial Stout in bottles. Extremely limited (only 110 cases of 22 oz. bottles produced). A thick core of chocolate is surrounded by a gentle, crisp roasty edge. This is not the barrel aged version. 12.5% ABV.


Under The Rose Brewing is no longer keeping regular hours at the brewery on 4th. According to a FB post they are only doing private brewery tours and events at that location. Check out the new location in Midtown.
