Releases Friday… Revision Brewing and Device Brewing have made a collaboration beer called Revice Northeast-Style Double IPA. The label reads: “Enjoying a beer is an encompassing sensory experience; the color, the aroma, the texture and most of all the flavor. Behind the art of craft is the science of brewing. Chemical reactions, organic chemistry, mechanical and electrical engineering combined with a drive to make something extraordinarily awesome. The gears start turning, thoughts take shape, an idea is forged into matter. That is the spirit of craft beer, a spirit shared by many including Device Brewing and Revision folks. Cheers to the driving force to greatness, and especially cheers to you.” Available on draft and in 16oz 4Packs. 8%ABV | 42IBUs
Alibi Ale Works has a couple of new releases…
Wild Abandon Brett IPA was fermented with 100% brettanomyces (wild yeast) in their oak vessel then transferred to a stainless tank for a heavy dry hopping with mosaic, citra and eldorado. The result is a really unique rustic IPA with big tropical aromas, a bit of brett funk, and a bone dry finish. Note: this beer is not “sour.” When brett is used for primary fermentation, it contributes little to no acidity, just some really cool funky/fruity aroma. 6.6% abv, draft only.
Sexi Mexi Lager, their first ever Mexican Lager, will be released on Cinco de Mayo! Brewed with corn, rice and a rad Mexican Lager yeast, this one goes down easy. Perfect chaser for those inevitable tequila shots. Rumors are swirling that they might do a few one-off kegs with lime zest, salt and tequila-soaked oak cubes. Swing by both locations on Cinco de may to find out! 4.3% abv, draft only.
Pigeon Head Brewery released Summer Moon IPA. An unfiltered IPA brewed with Mosaic, Citra, and Cashmere hops known for its unique tropical coconut characteristics.
Available on both draft and in 4 packs. 6.8% ABV
The Brewer’s Cabinet has released Bru Jones Rad Ale. This Kolsch style is light and refreshing just in time for summer shred sessions! 32oz Crowler Cans and Growler fills available at the Taproom. 4.9% ABV
Shoe Tree Brewing has released Cherry Godmother an Imperial Berliner Weisse weighing in at 7% ABV, tart with a cherry pie aroma.
They will also be releasing their Mexican lager and a Margarita Gose on 5/5.
The RN&R has an article on Pignic Pub & Patio. The last paragraph reads “But the biggest news of all for Pignic is that Revision Brewing Company is going to partner with the business and plans to open a taproom in the upstairs portion of the pub later this summer.” Read the article HERE.

The International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV), presented information on the collapse of global wine production, assessment of the worldwide harvest, and the state of the overall wine industry at the organization’s headquarters in Paris last week.
During the presentation, General-Director, Jean-Marie Aurand warned that global wine production collapsed in 2017, with a contraction of 8.6 percent compared with 2016 figures. Global wine output dropped to its lowest levels since 1957, primarily due to poor weather conditions in the Eurozone which slashed production across the entire bloc.
He also noted that global wine consumption has slowly increased in the last 3 years.
