So it’s looking a lot like it’s patio season. Nothing beats sitting outside enjoying your favorite beverage. Do you have a favorite patio in town? If so, pop on over to our FB PAGE and comment on where that may be. Do we need an official “Patio Opening Day” around here? Y’know, another reason to drink. I love those special “reason to drink” holidays. Like Groundhog Day. Two more RTD holidays coming up…May the Fourth (be with you) and Cinco de Mayo.

Lots going on so read on for details about events, releases and news for local craft beverage scene for the upcoming week in the Northern Nevada region. Cheers!

Notes of grapefruit zest, fresh baguettes and lemon verbena with a pillowy mouthfeel and a crisp, refreshing finish. And at 4.7% ABV, it just might be the perfect spring drinking beer. Draft only at both locations.

Pigeon Head Brewery has released Working A Double IPA a NEDIPA brewed with Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo, and Simcoe hops. Tropical fruit, orange citrus and pine with a soft graham cracker body. Available on draft and in cans to go. 65 IBU’s, 8% ABV.

Revision Brewing has a couple of releases to coincide with their bash on Saturday…

Island Waves is a crisp refreshing hoppy beer that you can enjoy a lot of without having to take a nap in the sun. With a round, full body to support the hops, this beer satisfies the hop craving with flavors and aromas reminiscent of a tropical fruit basket, all while keeping you super chill as you bathe in the sun. 35 IBU’s, 4% ABV.

Abyss Bliss is a tasty DIPA that maintains that island vibe. A potent and punchy blend of Sabro, Citra, Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic hops brings to mind ripe mango, juicy oranges and coconut with aroma so thick you could almost sink your jaws into it. 60 IBU’s, 8% ABV.

IMBĪB Custom Brews has released StrataSpheric Dust a brand new double dusty IPA. This hazy is packed with Strata, NZ Enigma, and finished with Citra. Fermented in their specialized fermenter to promote ester production. The nose is full of tropical citrus mixed with white currants. There is also a cold press mango variant on tap too if you want even more tropical goodness. 42 IBU’s, 7.4% ABV.
