IMBĪB Custom Brews posted that Abiogenesis 7 is going to hit the taps this week. This barrel-aged blend is made up of 40% 32 month old barrel aged beer. Making it their oldest blend to date. Also several of these barrels were aged on several crop years of muscat grapes. Very unique, very limited. 8% ABV
Also, Wild Braggot just hit the taps, a version of their wild saison barrel aged with mixed cultures and large amounts of Dharma Bee honey. 9% ABV is still dry with floral honey aromatics, tangy lactic sourness.
Shoe Tree Brewing is introducing Neon Cowboy! A unfiltered West Coast Pale Ale, this has the Hop aroma and flavor of an IPA but with the bitterness backed off. Making for a big juicy tropical pale ale. This beer glows in the light which inspired the name Neon Cowboy! 6.5% ABV and 50 IBU.
Alibi Ale Works has two new releases as part of their anniversary celebration:
Grand Cru, a special blend of smoked barleywine (75%) and imperial stout (25%), both aged in bourbon barrels for 18 months. It’s bursting with aromas of charred oak, smoked vanilla beans, with a voluptuously creamy body. Dangerously easy drinking at 9.0% ABV! We are REALLY stoked with this blend! On tap only at both locations.
The once-a-year release of Triple IPA! Hopped with an absurd amount of Chinook, Citra, Centennial and Cascade…over 7 lbs per barrel! The result is a lupulin-saturated explosion of fresh cut x-mas trees, candied orange peel, and over-ripe mango. It’s flowing at both locations. 10.0% ABV.
Great Basin Brewing has released Mayan Maybe Not. This old style ale uses ingredients the Mayans cultivated, including chocolate, jalapeno and habanero chiles, vanilla, honey, and maize. Now on tap and in bottles at both locations!
Pigeon Head Brewery has released Rye Pale Ale. A light ale with a generous dry hop of Mandarina Bavaria and Falconers Flight hops! Massive mandarin orange flavor with an earthy malt backbone.
South Lake Brewing has released the first beer of their single-hop IPA series – Questing: Centennial. A simple malt bill of 2-row and Golden Naked Oats lets the copious amounts of Centennial hops shine. Notes of juicy grapefruit, lemon rind, and floral overtones make this beer stand out from the rest. 45 IBU’s, 6.5% ABV.
Revision Brewing will be releasing four new Triple IPA’s over the next 12 months. The first release is Sucka Fish with heaps of Mosaic, Amarillo and Simcoe hops provide a tantalizing mix of ripe citrus notes with a touch of pine. Rocking 120 IBU’s and an 11.5% ABV. Big hops, no haze.
Sidellis Lake Tahoe Brewery has put their newest winter beer on tap. Corsetti Stout is a dark, toasty, mid range stout named after our assistant brewer Kevin Corsetti. 7.5% ABV.
