We have added a couple of new happenings to our EVENTS page! Just in case you wanted to plan ahead…

Brasserie Saint James has released Hopalong Hazily. Their Hopalong Cassidy Double IPA got a face lift, changing their flagship beer into a more hop-forward, juicy, hazy New England-style IPA using new school brewing and dry-hopping techniques to achieve more hop flavor with less bitterness. It is brewed with English malted barley and oats for maximum mouthfeel and a soft profile similar to orange juice. It has notes of fresh squeezed oj, stone fruit, pineapple, and soft fresh grass. 8% ABV.

Great Basin Brewing has a couple of releases:
The next riff in their Transcendent Orogenesis series: TOPAZ. A Berliner Weiss-style ale with over 850 pounds of fresh blueberries, aged in barrels. 3.5% ABV.
Also, Tom Hates Pumpkin Ale. It’s the perfect pumpkin beer for those that hate pumpkin beers. 5.5% ABV.

Alibi Ale Works has introduced Farmhouse Reserve: Pineapple. This is the first release in a series of mixed-culture saisons, each with a different fruit, hop or spice component. Farmhouse Reserve base beer begins its life in an open-top oak fermenter with their house mixed culture. After primary fermentation in oak, the beer is transferred to stainless, blended with a bit of older barrel-aged sour blonde, refermented on 1 pound per gallon of fresh pineapple, then lightly dry hopped it with Eldorado. The resulting beer is bursting with juicy pineapple, a bit of rustic Brett funk, soft acidity and hints of oaky vanilla, all culminating in a bone dry finish. The beer is naturally carbonated in both kegs and bottles.
