Lake Tahoe AleWorX is having a Track 7 tap takover. The taplist includes: Golden Guava, Blood Transfusion, Nukin’ Futz, Bee Line Blonde, Daylight Amber, Hoppy Palm spa, Left Eye Right Eye, Panic IPA, Snowman, Struddleberry, 2nd Breakfast, Brunch, Another Beer, LL Brew J, Under Construction and Discord.

Piñon Bottle Co is hosting a Founders Brewing tap takeover. They will have a small vertical of breakfast stouts (standard, KBS and CBS) as well as the DKML and Azacca IPA!

FiftyFifty Brewing will have a release party and POW benefit. Their second Cans for Community release, this one benefiting Protect Our Winters (POW), is a lightly hopped lager called Storm Chaser. The POW event will be a fun night with live music from Chi McClean, a video from Protect Our Winters, good food, and of course great beer! Stick around for music from our The Broken Keys! Helping protect our winters one beer at a time!

Pigeon Head Brewery has just released Motueka Wheat IPA. Motueka is a rare New Zealand hop known for citrus and tropical fruit flavors. This batch is also blended with Mosaic and Amarillo hops. There is no bittering hop addition creating full, smooth flavor without a bitter bite.
Revision Brewing is releasing a new NE Style IPA on January 12 called Social Fermentation. Also on Friday (1/12) there will be a new batch of Disco Ninja available in cans and draft.
IMBĪB Custom Brews now has Abiogenesis #7 Muscat Sour in bottles. This batch is bottle conditioned and refermented with fresh Brett cultures to further the complexity of the already complex sour and capable of aging for a long time under cellar conditions.. Very limited, only 50 bottles of this version. 8% ABV.
Under the Rose Brewing has released 8260 (as in elevation) American-style Blonde Ale. A collaboration with Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe.
South Lake Brewing has released their very first lager – Pilsner of Society. Brewed with clean Tahoe water, German pilsner malt, and gently hopped with Saphir hops. Notes of fresh grain and floral noble hops are accentuated by a crisp and dry body.
Also, on Saturday (1/13), SLBC will have their very first can release. 4 packs of 2 different brews will go on sale at the tasting room. Beers include Angora IPA and a new one called Chunderstruck – a hazy IPA.
Lead Dog Brewing has released Peanut Butter Stout and Choconilla Stout in 16 oz cans. Available in the taproom for $8.99/4pk.
On the first of the year, High Sierra Brewing in Baldini’s Casino closed. Occidental Brewing from Portland has opened in the same location. You can read more about that HERE.
