IMBĪB Custom Brews presents Abiogenesis Day. For one day only, they are putting all of their rare beer series – ABIOGENESIS – on tap including batches 1 through 10. This will likely be your only chance to taste these batches side by side and this may be the last opportunity to taste some of these beers ever (unless you are hoarding some bottles!).
The ABIOGENESIS SERIES showcases some of their most unique, wild, and barrel aged beer in which they have encouraged spontaneous things to occur during the fermentation and aging process. The series features flavors and aromas that are unpredictable and, through the blending process, have achieved a unique beer that can never be replicated.

We have added a couple of new happenings to our EVENTS page! Just in case you wanted to plan ahead…
Alibi Ale Works has released Full Send Double IPA. This is a collaboration with their friends from SiPS Brew Project in Tahoe City. This West Coast DIPA is bursting with hoppy goodness from huge additions (6 pounds per barrel!) of Citra, Simcoe and Cascade and Denali hops. Tons of grapefruit zest, pine sap, ripe mango and juniper berries on the nose and tongue. And it’s crystal clear. Enjoy it on draft at Alibi and SiPS while it lasts! 8.2% ABV.
10 Torr has released a Milkshake IPA. White peach, orange zest, vanilla with lactose.
The Fox Brewpub just released STOIC THE BRUT, a Brut Extra Dry Unfiltered IPA, that is light in color, light bodied, low bitterness, with a TON of flavor and aroma from the Citra hops, with a crisp, extra dry champagne-like finish. 35 IBU, 6.5% ABV.
The South Lake Tahoe City Council approved a new food truck ordinance that will take effect on March 19, 2019. Previously, food trucks were not allowed except for special events. This change was spear-headed, in part, by Nicole Riegel Smith, co-owner of South Lake Brewing Company. You can read an article from SouthTahoeNow.com HERE.
6 local breweries brought home 9 medals from The Best of Craft Beer Awards. You can read our article about it HERE.
