Upcoming Events

South Lake Brewing Company along with Local Freshies, will host a Fire Academy Fundraiser and  release party for Fog-Nozzle IPA. This will be an opportunity for South Lake Tahoe to honor the firefighters who protect the community. The goal is to bring attention to wildfire protection basin-wide and raise money for the Lake Tahoe Basin Fire Academy. The night starts out with music from former fireman Kevin Marcy. Then, you will have a chance to compete against the pros in a water bucket brigade. Finally, the evening will finish by raffling off a few items.

Sidellis Lake Tahoe Brewery is celebrating their 2nd anniversary with a release of barrel-aged Rubus Rouge. This Red Saison was brewed last January and aged in a chardonnay barrel with raspberries for over 10 months. It is the the most aged beer this brewery has ever put out. Very limited. 5.7% ABV.

On Monday, January 8th, Alibi Ale Works will release Feats of Strength.  This beer is somewhere between a strong ale and an imperial red IPA. Warm caramel caresses the palette, giving way to citrus-soaked pine needles and dark berries. Hop-saturated, aromatic and resinous. Draft only. 7.8% ABV.

Revision Brewing published their release calendar for the month of January. You can find the list on their social outlets. The good news is the return of Disco Ninja (1/12) and Reno as Fuck! (1/26). This Friday (1/5) they will be releasing Smoke & Mirrors & Lord Lupulin (Batch 2) in cans and draft.

Each year CraftBeer.com invites thousands of craft beer lovers to vote for their favorite local beer bar.  The Great American Beer Bar Poll wants to know your favorite beer bar where you live. They’ll tally the results and list the 2018 Great American Beer Bars from each U.S. state.
CrafatBeer.com collected more than 7,000 votes for the 2017 poll. Last year’s Nevada winner was Aces & Ales in Las Vegas. Vote now through Jan. 7, 2018 HERE. Note: Voting is limited to one vote per IP address. So, there will be no ballot stuffing.

Directions to all the local craft establishments can be found on our CRAFT MAP.
