Oktoberfest Happenings – 2017
Here is a roundup of local Oktoberfest celebrations in Reno and Northern Nevada involving local beer and breweries.
Thursday, September 21
Third Annual Sixtoberfest – Six authentic German beers on tap. Traditional Oktoberfest brews from Hacker-Pschorr, Ayinger Privatbrauerei, Paulaner, and Weihenstephaner Wiesbaden. German-style pretzels made by neighbors over at Batch Cupcakery.

South Reno Rotary Oktoberfest – fourth annual Oktoberfest celebration. Local breweries, wine, Bavarian food, live music and a silent auction. Proceeds will go to supporting the club’s various charitable programs. $75 includes all food and drinks, as well as a commemorative Oktoberfest tasting glass. The Depot – third annual Oktoberfest party! Prizes and bragging rights will be given out to the best dressed Mann (Man) & Frau (Woman) as well as to the winners of the grueling endurance event …. The Masskrugstemmen (beer stein holding)!
$40 will get you a custom Depot Oktoberfest 1L Stein with all you can drink, freshly released, The Oktoberfest bier. Also featured will be Bavarian Pretzels, assorted Würste with all the trimmings and other German themed snacks. Beer NV 2nd Annual Sausage Fest featuring multiple Oktoberfest beers including, but not limited to, Warsteiner, Hacker-Pschorr, Ayinger, Erdinger, and some American favorites. Food starting in the afternoon. live music, raffles, and games.
