Is it weird if a brewery takes over its own taps with its own beer? Not really, that happens everyday, all over town. Ok, what if every tap was a very limited release, barrel-aged beer? Then you’d be talking about the IMBĪB Barrel-aged Tap Takeover.

Saturday at IMBĪB Custom Brews, drink a variety of beers including bourbon barrel-aged, wild, funky, and sour beers, many that have not been on tap before and some may not be again. Here’s the tap list:

Kentucky Common – Woodford Reserve Barrels
Scotch Wee Heavy – Rogue Rye Whiskey Barrels
Sour Belgian Dark Strong – Rogue Rye Whiskey Barrels
Sour Golden Child (Belgian Golden Strong) – Pinot Noir Barrels
Cherry Wood Smoked Rye Bock – Rogue Single Malt Barrels
Sour Russian Imperial Stout with Cherries – Jim Beam Barrel
100% Boysenberry Brett Beer (fermented with only Brettanomyces) – Neutral Oak Barrel
Abiogenesis #2 – Sour Golden Ale – Chardonnay Barrels
Wild Calypso (Saison aged in neutral barrel with brett and dry hopped with Calypso hops)
Flanders Red Ale
– Neutral Oak Barrel
Biere de Garde – Pinot Noir Barrels
Foeder Squared – Blend of IMBĪB and Tahoe Mountain Foeder aged beer
Belgian Triple – IMBĪB and Alibi collaboration beer aged in second use whiskey barrels
Sour Gruit – IMBĪB and Great Basin beer aged in neutral oak barrels

The fun starts at 1 pm. None of these beers will be available to take home in growlers/crowlers since there are very limited quantities of each.
